WHAT IS GLOBAL WARMING

Introduction

We know that heating has become a serious concern within the world. We've also started facing its effect in recent times. The term 'Global warming' denotes an increase within the earth's average temperature. A steady rise within the earth's average temperature is noted, since the start of a business revolution. Since 1960 every passing decade has been warmer than the previous one and also the earth's temperature continues to be on rising.

The prime reason for warming is the greenhouse effect. The greenhouse effect is caused because of the gases which absorb and reflect energy. The gases accountable for the greenhouse effect are called greenhouse gases. The greenhouse gases when present in moderate quantities, help the earth retain the warmth received from sunlight. Thus helping in maintaining moderate temperature necessary for the survival of life on earth. But, human activities like industrialization, deforestation, and environmental pollution cause an increase in greenhouse gases. This increase in greenhouse gases ends up in more heat being trapped on the earth's surface. Thus increasing the common temperature and causing warming. There are many campaigns organized by global organizations and other countries to fight warming .several agreements are signed by many countries to cut back the greenhouse gases emission. 

There are some ways by which we are able to prevent the occurrence of world warming. Following are the steps which might greatly help in reducing the greenhouse gases thus reducing warming.

● Avoid /stop Burning fossil fuels.

● Reduction within the transportation pollution.

● Using Electric vehicles.

● Restricting the emission of greenhouse gases from the factories.

● Increase plantation and promote Reforestation.

● Paper waste management

● Avoid wastage of electricity

● Use of LED bulbs

● Harness the Renewable source of energy

● Reduce paper usage

● Reuse and recycle

● Avoid using Disposable plastic and use earthen cups

● Use of transport and carpool.

Conclusion

Global warming could be a global issue. It isn't about a single country or a private issue...It's about our earth, our ecosystem and therefore it's the most significant. It is about the survival of humanity. Let's untie and stand together to stop this manmade curse and make our earth an improved place for our future generations.
